ATTENTION DRAMA CLUB!
LEAD TECH INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD NEXT TUESDAY AUGUST 19TH 4:30-6:00PM
These interviews are for LEAD TECH positions only and TRADITIONAL TECH INTERVIEWS will be held in the fall for all other technical positions.
This allows for the fall season to begin our process early and encourages student led work on all parts of our productions.
We know this is a bit of a change, but we believe it will have a fantastic impact on our drama seasons. This will allow us to hold pre season production meetings and start the fall strong.

Stage Manager / Assistant Stage Managers
Lead Audio
Sound Design
Lead Electrician
Lighting Design
(student) Technical Director
Scenic Design
Lead Costume
Costume Design
Lead Hair/Makeup
Lead Props
Assistant Director
WHO CAN APPLY?
All students of RMHS are eligible for interviews, we encourage experience in the desired field you wish to take a leadership role in.
Only students with a desire for leadership roles and their expectations should apply at this time. If you are unsure waiting until traditional interviews is suggested.
ARE THESE REPLACING REGULAR TECH INTERVIEWS?
No. Normal Tech Interviews are still scheduled for the second week of school this fall. Some assistant tech roles, all crew tech roles, and any unfilled lead tech roles will be open for students to interview for this fall. Any student who applies for a lead tech interview and is not chosen will be considered for other positions in the tech process.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND INTERVIEWS
It's always best to be at an interview to make a good impression. We know summer schedules can be unpredictable. If possible, make an in person appointment during an available time slot. If you are traveling you may sign up for a ZOOM interview time slot. The link for your interview will be on the RMHS Drama Google Classroom. If you are unable to attend interviews in any capacity we suggest waiting until the fall technical interview, but you may email Mrs. Cunha at natalie.cunha@reading.k12.ma.us with questions.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE
1.) Sign up for an interview time slot (sign up genius link on google classroom)
2.) Fill out and submit a technical form (google classroom Audition/Interview)
3.) We will be discussing your experience and what you know about the lead tech role. Be prepared to discuss your ideas and past experience.
